The Bible tells us that we are to stay away from the works of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-21 and instead to follow God’s example, walking in the way of love (Ephesians 5:1,-2). It also tells us who we are because of Jesus’ sacrifice. First Peter 2:9 says, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.” One of the best ways to walk in the way of love and act as grateful, chosen people is to examine and correct our daily habits.
